    Snow Alert 6:17am

its snowin like a mo fo out there!

    get out the shovels.

The city freaks out over a possible storm last week that never happened. What happened this time!

Stealth Storm is what you call it.

    middle of the night

well it is 418 am and I am at work. Just had a tasty meal break with some left over pasta. We have Shawshank on while we work and no matter how many times I see it I marvel at how great a movie it is. I remember the first time I saw it was in second year University on Partington Street and I had to tell everyone how good it was right away. Not telling the ending of course because that is what makes the movie a classic.

If I could have a voice to my inner thoughts I would like to choose Morgan Freeman. It is a close battle with Kevin Arnold or JD from SCrubs but Morgan wins out!

The Raptors had a huge OT win lastnight. I thought for sure they were going to blow it but Jalen pulled through. He must of hit the produce section before the game, eh Chuck!

Not much going on in the land of Cuzzy. Just working a long 5 day stretch and looking forward to a nice stretch of days off. February is almost here and we are getting closer and closer to the better weather.

Ok I better get back to work, the guys in Ireland will be in soon and messaging us to do some updates to the UK site.

have a good Monday (I think it is Monday haha)

    Sunny Saturday

Good day to all, it is Saturday and for most of you that means sleeping in and having a nice weekend. Well I did get to sleep in a little but I am working later on today. Just to clear things up on the last post, I did in fact eat so my hungry poem can be discarded.

Not much going on, worked the last few days so I am just catching up on things today before going back in tonight. We moved offices at work today so that was pretty fun. We moved from a basement to this brand new wing of a building with a lot of space and light. It is pretty impressive to see and now in front of me I have 4 large plasma tv's to watch.

We had a tasty home made breakfast today and now we are getting ready to go to the mall. Katie has a few things to return and we are going to look around. It is a sunny and somewhat warm day out so it will be good. I plan of having a bit of a nap later on too.

I can only imagine what it is like in Toronto these days with all the stuff happening with the Leafs and Raptors. The media is having a field day that is for sure.

The Raps lost last night on the road to the Bucks and I was not even that interested to watch. Something about certain arenas makes you want to turn the channel and Milwaukee is one of them.

ok I better get ready to roll, not much news but you know I will pass it along when there is some.

    FINALLY

    Associated Press
    Thu, Jan 26, 2006

TORONTO -- The Toronto Raptors fired general manager Rob Babcock on Thursday - just a year and a half after he was hired.

Team president and CEO Richard Peddie made the announcement a day after Toronto was routed 104-88 by the Chicago Bulls, leaving the Raptors with a 14-29 record - fourth-worst in the league. Wayne Embry, Peddie`s senior basketball adviser, will take over for Babcock on an interim basis.

Babcock made many questionable moves during his brief tenure, including receiving little in return when he traded All-Star Vince Carter to the New Jersey Nets last season. His first round draft pick in the 2004 draft - center Rafael Araujo - has been a bust.

Attendance at the Air Canada Centre has also plummeted as fans have become fed up with the Raptors` play.

    Crockin good dinner

Last night we had a spagetti/salad dinner and the sauce I made in the crock pot. It was a spicey sauce recipe and it certainly had a kick but was not over the top hot. I do not have the recipe in front of me but it had in it:

    greep pepper
    onion
    g-beef
    diced tomatoes
    chipotle peppers
    lemon juice
    chili powder
    salt and pepper
    garlic powder
    sugar
    oregano
    other italian herbs

all tossed in and crocked for 9 hours!

there is a lot left over if you want to stop by.

    Back to Work

Well it is Thursday and I am back to work for 5. It was a great 5 day break and I got a lot done I think.

Yesterday I picked up some grocery and stuff for the work week and also a new plant.

We are moving offices today so I have to sign off now and I will tell you more about it later on.

hope everyone is having a great day and the so called snow storm we were supposed to get, never came.
    January 25

    White Wednesday

Well the snow is still here but the mild weather should melt it away in no time. Not much going on so far today, Bosco and I slept in a little on our Sunday. I am back to work tomorrow and we have moved to the new building in a new room so that will be exciting.

I have a few erands to do today but nothing to big. I think I may get a plant finally and start up the army of green I used to have in Toronto. Anyone who was over to my place knows how much I liked plants.

So I guess today I will just post some pictures I took yesterday and put up another Cuzoogle Profile. I feel since the whole job search saga ended my site has lost the edge, the drama of a good story. I know people are still checking  and reading daily but things are a little boring right now I guess.

I will have to work on that one.

have a good day where ever you are.

Kobe strikes again, this time not in Denver.

Good Monday morning to you all, I hope the day and week is starting off well. I took a break yesterday from blogging and it was a nice one. Sometimes you need to recharge the batteries a little and I had one of those pajama weekends haha. So now it is back to business and many good things to come.

First up lets talk about the insane basketball game last night. The Raptors were rolling along, hitting threes and playing great ball. Kobe was scoring alot but that is nothing new, who cares when they are down by double digits. Then it started to happen. Kobe started to score every time down and energizing his team. A 17 point Toronto lead started to shrink but there was no way Kobe was going to keep scoring and bring them back. Well he did and did he ever. I dont even like the guy and I was amazed and had to stay up late to see history made. Kobe went off for 81 points, the most ever except for a game where Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 back in the 60's. It was incredible how easy he was scoring and even the Raptors got caught up in the moment looking like they had no clue what they were doing. The crowd went nuts when he went over 70 and got even louder when he went over 80. Leave it to the Raps to get into the history books this way!

    The Weekend that was:

So this weekend not a lot happened but it was a nice and relaxing one. Much needed since Katie and I were both tired and we are both looking forward to pay day next week. I came home from work Saturday morning and we watched a CSI on tape while thinking about what to do for the day. We had some breakfast and did the usual walk up to the Q for some groceries. We got too much as usual and it was a heavy carry home. My arms are still a little sore. We played some xbox and I watched some college ball (Duke lost!) and some hockey. For dinner (this reminds me to bring up Friday's dinner) we had a pub night! We had some chicken strips and fries and I had a beer. We had on some music while the hockey game was on mute.

After dinner we watched Bewitched, the curent movie not the tv show. It was much better and funnier than I figured it would be so that was nice. By the time this was over we were both pretty tired. I had been up for 30 hours in a row so I was fading fast. So we called it a night.

    Friday Dinner:

Even though I already know the Subway by our place is the worst I have ever been too. We still went and got some dinner. I ordered a chicken pizzaola sub and I was kind of groggy from just getting up so I was not exactly paying attention. They forgot to take the chicken out of the microwave and put it in my sub. Sadly I did not see this until I came home. Jeeez, that was a bummer.

    Sunday:

Yesterday was a perfect lazy day, it was freezing outside so that made it even easier just to stay in and lounge. We made a brunch of French Toast and bacon, I did some cleaning and we played some xbox golf. Katie cooked up a curry dish for dinner that was tasty and there are still left overs. THere was chicken, potatoes and tomatoes in this curry sauce.

We flipped the channels with not a lot on and finally tuned into the Kobe show.

another weekend gone but this one was a much needed recharge so it was good. I am still off for 3 days so that is the best news!

Today is voting day in Canada so go out and vote. Katie and I are going to go when she gets home from work, we just have to pop over the road to the school so thats good.

    have a super day everyone.

    Starbucks on Bosh!

Chris Bosh had a great game in Seattle last night. He hit 17-17 at the free throw line, breaking the team record. He must of layed off the Star Bucks to not have the jitters. Matt Bonner started in the place of the injured Hoffa-star.

just about to go home and start my 5 days off! woo hoo

get ready for some blog action that is for sure.

ok this is me saying so long til next time.

I have to do a few erands when I get up but basically I will sleep, eat and come back to work for one more shift before 5 glorious days off.

I was listening to some live Feist last night, it is really good. She was playing with Bright Eyes at some festival in Britain. I love bit torrent!

    Sunny Thursday

Yes yes I changed it up today, blogging in the afternoon instead of when I get up. I was not in a writingi mood I guess. Not much going on, it is my transition day today meaning I worked last night til 9 and I work tonight at 9. So I have to have a nap later on. I am just about to head out and do a few things before coming back home to relax.

Yesterday was your normal work day, nothing to exciting to report. I came home and Katie and I watched a new episode of Lost. It is getting crazy again on that show but it keeps bringing me back.

The Raptor game was not on East coast tv but thats ok, they ended up losing to Portland. I hope they can salvage a win on this west coast trip.

Pretty slow day for news over here so I will have to come up with something later on.

    have a good day everyone

    Dirty Toilets!

A test carried out by Pegasus Lab on account for Swedish magazine PC För alla showed that a normal PC keyboard was infected by more bacteria than a normal toilet seat. More specific it contained 33000 bacteria per square centimeter, compared to 130 on a ordinary toilet seat. The tests also showed occurrence of up to 3100 fungi per square centimeter
