My Mum has taken great care of me and has listened to me and done anything she can to make things better for me. I am a lucky guy that is for sure. Mum works as a librarian in Corunna and is nearing her retirement and time to bask in the sun of not working anymore.

She enjoys reading for 10 minutes, putting her feet up for 10 minutes and having 10 minute naps. As you can guess all of those things are pretty much the same thing. My Mum and I have similar personalities and ways of dealing with things. We both have a pretty good sense of humour and are generally calm people. Whether she intends it or not my Mum has always been able to make people laugh and smile.

So there is the inspiration for the start of this blog and now you can see 10000 hits later it has grown into something that a lot of people read.

How She Fits In: girlfriend

About:  I have been with Katie for close to two years now and I have to say it has been a great time, getting better every day. We just get along so well and have a great balance. Katie works at The University of King's College here in Halifax as an Alumni Officer. You know the letters you get in the mail from the school you went to, that is her! haha. Katie brings a cat, Mercy to the mix. He is pretty cool for a cat and can be snuggly or just down right winey when he wants food. Watching Mercy and Bosco interact is entertaining for sure.

Katie enjoys candy, fruit bars and more candy as a snack. She likes to have relaxing weekends with a crossword puzzle and watching as much Oprah/Dr. Phil as she can. Since I have entered the picture she has become a big Raptor fan and watched more TV shows than she used to.

I am as big a fan of hers as she is of me and Katie Rose certainly Rocks.

How He Fits In: long time friend

About: I have known Kevin since grade 7 and in particular the end of grade 7 year when we veared off from the pack and starting hanging out. The years have been full of sarcastic remarks that lead people to think we hate each and many afternoons of trying to decide what to do with our day. A large part of my personality was created during the Kevin years when we were roomates for 2 years in London. Now he is living in London, Ontario and is a big shot PHD in a lab working on projects that he can't even talk about. One day he is going to cure something big so I would recommend staying on his good side if you want some of the antidote!

Kevin is married to Angela (future profile) and has a cat, Cooper. He drives a VW Golf and like Old Navy t-shirts. When he is not playing an exciting game of x-box, Kevin likes to read and watch movies about war. He is the one keeping those channels in the mid 30's going. You can visit Kevin's space but do not be upset if there are no updates. It is really unfair to wrap up an 18 year (gawd) friendship in such a short blurb but hey what can you do. Kev and I ran out of stuff to talk about years ago, it happens.
