05 ottobre halifax here I amok I will try and catch you all up. Here is some reading to keep you from being bored
friday night finished packing and cleaning my place nick and sonia and I went out for some food, they were also packing and cleaning. It was a very crazy night at 1796. came home and grabbed a few hours sleep on the couch (the only thing left in the place) woke up around 2am and closed up the suitcases and double checked the place took Bosco for one last walk before he would get put on the plane early saturday morning loaded up my suitcases and bosco into Nick's SUV and we were off to the airport it is very creepy going into the shipping area at 5am. Can I also say it was way to easy to just drive in there as well. No security at all. dropped off Bosco and he started barking as I left. Ok off to the terminal. was checked in and through security by 545am and it was time for the long wait. I grabbed a tim hortons tea and sat where I could see the plane being loaded until I saw them put Bosco's crate on. Man I bet he was pissed at me. Finally about 10 mins late they started boarding the plane around 710am. Found my comfy window seat and pretty much right away dozed off for a bit. Westjet is really night, comfy seats and digital tv. They were also very nice and helpful with regards to Bosco. from this point in the day it could not of gone smoother. I guess it makes for a boring blog entry but I will take that any day. On Halifax ground landed at the airport and once off the plane I waited in the window and watched to make sure Bosco was unloaded, I did not want him to go on to Newfoundland. arrived at the luggage return to see this older man holding a sign with my name on it. He of course is the limo I booked. I could not find any cabs large enough to transport Bosco so this was the only was to go. I got my bags and hit the road to go pick up Bosco. I walked in the door to the cargo place and there he was barking and getting excited to get out of his crate. They took such good care of him. Les, my driver was also great, he said time was no limit and to go give Bosco a good walk before we hit the road. the the really cool part, Bosco did not have to go back in the crate, he rode in the back of the limo with me. That was pretty swank, we were celebrities for the 35 minute drive. the weather was so nice and I was very excited to see the place I would call home finally.........oh and Katie too haha. We pulled up out front and Katie was waiting there with our landlord. I rolled down the window and Katie looked and did a double take, she did not know I had a limo. Haha her face was great.
