the move part II
ok we left off with me in the limo and Katie shocked to see me pull up in it. From there we now continue.
- I met our landlord and Katie gave me and Boss a tour of the new place. I have to say that the place is amazing and there is so much space. I will have pics up soon for you to all see. There is plenty of room for visitors so dont be shy.
- We did the whole lease signing thing and talking with the landlord.
- it was great to be here and I was pretty tired and just plain confused with all that was going on.
- No time to rest though, Katie needed to move now from Quinpool.
- We went and rented a van and that was quite the experience, thank you Troy for being so slow! haha
- after we got the van we drove over to Katie's old place so she could finisih packing and we could start loading up. Not before a bite to eat first, thank you Wendy for the spicy chicken.
- We were only going to move over a few things and finish the rest on Sunday.
- Katie cleaned up and packed some stuff and I chilled out.
- Once we moved some stuff to the new place we had to quit for the day. We checked out the new place, set up some new things and had a quiet Saturday night.
Super Sunday
- So with just the two of us and a van, the task seemed pretty daunting and it could of been a lot worse.
- All in all it went great, 4.5 hours to move it all and unload into the new place. There were a few spats haha but nothing that we did not work out.
- Katie said good bye to Quingate living and hello to Kline St.
- after all the moving we were pretty tired so we decided to get some subway and relax for the rest of the night. I of course could not stop moving stuff and unpacking but I finally stopped.
- We met a lot of our neighbours too, we have Hairy Back Ted from next door, a few doors down we have Anne and Mike and on the other side we have Johny BBQ and his family. For those of you who dont know, Katie's boss Kara bought a house around the corner and our backyards actually touch haha. Quite the little community already.
- I had a chicken pizzaiola sub for those who are keeping score at home.
- mercy and bosco sure did not get along at first but day by day it is getting better.
